Zoo Med PowerSun H.I.D. Metal Halide UVB Bulb & Fixture Combo

The PowerSun® High Intensity Discharge (HID) Combo comes with a PowerSun® HID Metal Halide UVB Lamp and a Lamp Fixture. It's a great choice for larger habitats. The 70 - watt PowerSun® HID Lamp offers high - output UVB, and emits a truly sun - like bright natural light for terrariums. With a 6500K color temperature and 95 CRI, it combines amazing color with UVB, UVA, and heat all in one lamp. Thanks to its proprietary Zoo Med Lamp construction, it creates a true flood - lamp effect, getting rid of the dangerous UV 'hot - spots' found in other metal halide reptile lamps. The fixture features a ceramic socket, an integrated ballast, a highly polished reflective dome, and double - wall construction for safety.

Using this product is easy. First, find a suitable place in your terrarium to install the fixture. Make sure it's at a proper height for your reptiles. Connect the lamp to the fixture, and then plug it in. When using, always keep an eye on your reptiles to ensure they are comfortable under the light. As for maintenance, regularly check the lamp to see if it needs replacement. If the light seems dim or the color changes, it might be time to get a new one. Also, clean the fixture every now and then to keep it in good condition. Be careful when handling the lamp as it can get hot. Unplug it before any maintenance work to avoid burns.
