Setting up your hermit crab habitat is easy with this starter kit. First, place the 10-gallon terrarium in a quiet area away from direct sunlight. Spread the 5 pounds of Vita-Sand evenly at the bottom of the tank, then add the hermit crab substrate on top. Put the mineral blocks in a corner for the crabs to munch on. Fill the combined water and food dishes with fresh water treated with the water conditioner and saltwater treated with the saltwater conditioner, and add some hermit crab food. Keep the tank at a suitable temperature and humidity. Remember, not all items in the photos are included. Check the kit contents carefully. Clean the tank regularly, replace the water and food every few days, and watch your hermit crabs thrive.
