ANTCUBE – Digfix plate 20×20

Digfix is our uniquely crafted nesting material for ants. It comes in various sizes - 183x160x 6/10/20/50 mm, corresponding to sizes S/M/L or XL. These nest inserts are perfect for all burrowing ant species, whether from dry or humid regions, and even for those living in wood. Digfix is incredibly adaptable and can be used in any habitat, regardless of moisture levels. One great advantage is that when burrowing ants dig, they won't soil the nest panes, giving you a clear view into the nest. The sizes S, M, L, and XL refer to the panel thickness, tailored to the size of our ants' nests. Size S (6mm) is for small species like Myrmica, M (10mm) is for medium - sized species such as Lasius and Formica, and L (20mm) is for large species like Camponotus, with an insert suitable for smaller ant species too. Note that the natural color can range from greenish/grayish brown to earthy brown, and this won't affect the quality. Also, due to manufacturing, dimensions may vary by +/- 1mm.

Using the Digfix plate is easy. First, pick the right size for your ant species. If you have small ants like Myrmica, choose the S size. For medium - sized ants such as Lasius or Formica, go for the M size, and large ants like Camponotus need the L size. Place the plate in your ants' nest area. You don't have to worry about the habitat's wetness or dryness as Digfix works well in all conditions. Just note that the color of the plate can vary, but that doesn't change its quality. Also, the dimensions might be off by up to 1mm because of manufacturing. To maintain it, simply keep the nest clean. There's no need to replace the plate often as it's durable, but if you notice significant wear, it might be time for a new one.
