KittensLet kittens start accessing AvoDerm Natural cat food about 3 weeks before weaning. You can moisten the food to make it easier for them to eat. After weaning, feed the kitten 3 to 4 times a day for the first 2 months. Then, reduce it to 2 to 3 times a day until they reach adult size, and finally 1 to 2 times a day. During the growing phase, expect to feed 1 1/2 to 2 times the adult feeding amount. Adjust the daily food quantity to keep the kitten in good shape.
Pregnant FemalesDuring the last 1/3 of pregnancy, increase the feeding amount to 1 1/2 times the adult recommendation. Avoid overfeeding too much. Keep the cat in good condition while getting ready for giving birth and nursing.
Lactating FemalesA nursing female may need 2 to 3 times the amount of food recommended for adults. Adjust the extra food according to the number of kittens and the length of nursing. Try to maintain her good body condition, but be aware that with many kittens, she may lose some body fat for milk production.

This AvoDerm dry cat food is easy to use. Just follow the feeding guidelines based on your cat's weight. For kittens, introduce the food a few weeks before weaning and moisten it to help them eat. Adjust the amount as they grow. Pregnant and lactating females need more food, so increase the quantity as recommended. Always make sure your cat has access to fresh water. Store the food in a cool, dry place to keep it fresh. Check the expiration date and don't use the food if it's past that date. If your cat has any special health conditions, consult your vet before feeding this food.
