Description
The SMART LEVEL is a highly versatile, fully electronic water level controller crafted by Hydor. It's a game - changer for aquarium and sump owners, effortlessly and safely managing the water level that gradually drops due to normal evaporation. This innovative device is designed to perform optimally in various marine and freshwater aquarium settings. The SMART LEVEL technology cleverly reduces issues related to lime scale deposits, bacterial film, and wave action, ensuring the consistent, safe, and regular operation of the control. Key features include: it's a dedicated water level controller for aquariums and sumps, fully electronic, enabling automatic top - up of your aquarium water. It's a breeze to install and super intuitive to use. Equipped with an electronic sensor, it keeps the water level of the sump or aquarium between the MIN and MAX levels. When the water level dips below the MIN, the top - up kicks in until it reaches the MAX. In case of an issue, the ALARM sensor immediately halts the top - up and sets off an audible alarm. It also has a double alarm with light and sound to alert you of any malfunctions. There's a power socket for a refilling pump (max 50 Watts, not included), it runs on low voltage, isn't affected by surface water movements, has a compact size for easy placement inside the aquarium cabinet. It comes with a magnet suction cup support for easy positioning on up to 10 mm thick aquarium glass and an adhesive cable clamp. The 2 - meter cable provides flexibility in setup.

Using the Hydor Automatic Top - Off Smart Level Controller is straightforward. First, install it in your aquarium or sump. Use the included magnet suction cup support to attach it to the aquarium glass, which can be up to 10 mm thick. Then, connect the refilling pump (not included) to the power socket. The pump should have a maximum power of 50 Watts. The controller will automatically monitor the water level. When the water drops below the MIN level, it will start the top - up process until the MAX level is reached. In case of any malfunction, you'll be alerted by the double alarm (light and sound). Remember to use a pump that meets the power requirements. Also, keep the area around the controller clean to avoid lime scale deposits and bacterial film. Every once in a while, check the 2 - meter cable for any signs of damage. If you notice any issues with the sensor or the alarm, stop using the device and contact customer support.
